Since this website’s inception, when a customer has ordered prints, those prints were made in the mid-west and shipped directly to the customer.  I never touched the prints.  This system resulted in shipping costs ranging from $5 to $9 depending on the number and size of prints ordered and the method of shipping chosen.  When a customer wanted just one or two photos, the cost of shipping at times equaled the cost of the prints.  In addition, it would often take a week or longer for the customer to receive these prints.  Unfortunately, I don't control the cost of shipping.  However, there is a way for local customers to avoid shipping charges.

I have recently purchased a photo printer, one commonly used in the on-site and event photo printing trade.  This printer is capable of producing 5x7 and wallet-sized photos.  When combined with a 3.5 inch button maker I also recently obtained, 3.5 inch photo buttons can also be produced. 

To help with small orders for local customers, I have added several additional products to those offered on the website.  Those additional products are shown below and are designated as “Requires pickup”.  The cost for these items, which I will print using my new printer, remain the same as those printed by my vendor.  However, you can avoid shipping charges! 

The notation that these products require pickup is the one caveat.  I will not deliver these products nor will I mail these products to the customer.  The customer of these products will either need to arrange to pick up the products from me or arrange to meet me at a ZHS event I plan to attend in the near future.  This will obviously require post-order communication between the customer and myself.  Therefore, this option is only available to local customers.  Any order of these products by non-local customers will not be fulfilled and the order will be cancelled.  By purchasing these items you will avoid shipping charges and can obtain your photo items significantly quicker!

I can also take orders in person, but you will need to provide details regarding the photos such as the gallery the photos are in and the file name or image number from the website.  In addition, prepayment will be required!
