This page is intended to provide information to teams considering having me do your team photos. I hope the information here will answer any questions you might have before booking me for your team photos.


First, you should understand my style of team photos. Instead of taking photos on a field or court as many are accustomed to, I take individual photos of each player and coach and digitally assemble a team photo and the individual photos. There are several advantages to this method including ensuring I get a great photo of everyone for the team photo, being able to do make up photos for those who could not be present on the photo day, reducing the impact of weather for outdoor sports, and not taking up gym time for indoor sports. A few examples of team photos created through this style are shown below.

In order to make for an orderly photo day and to help ensure photo orders are correct, I will need a roster for the team ideally 10 days prior to the photo date, but not less than 7 days prior. This information is used not only to track which photos are of what player/coach, but also is used to populate the prepay online ordering system. Anyone who should be included in the team photo should be included in this roster information.

Photos will either be taken in my mobile photography studio or indoors. Photos during later fall and winter will typically be done indoors due to the temperatures. I will work with the point of contact on arranging an indoor space.

Speaking of point of contact (POC), I will consider the team's POC to be the person who contacted me to arrange for team photos.  I will arrange to get order forms to the POC at least several days prior to the photo date and will deliver the prints to the POC after they are completed. Absent general questions from parents, most of my communication about your team's team photos will be through this POC.

In some cases, I make ask the team/program to provide some assistance during the team photos for crowd control and posing, but that will be discussed with the POC prior to the photo date.

As previously mentioned, this style of team photography does allow for make up photos which includes adding a person missing on the photo date to the team photo. In order to not delay the delivery of the prints, I require that anyone who will need or needs make up photos contact me no later than 48 hours after the team photo date. Contacting me prior to the photo date is also welcomed! Make up photos will need to be completed no later than 96 hours after the team photo date and will in all likelihood require the missing player or coach to come to me in Zillah for these make up photos. There is no extra charge for these makeup photos.

My goal is to have prints delivered to the POC 2 weeks after the last person on the team is photographed, so the need to do make up photos will impact delivery time. I am a single person operation so pre-planned vacations, holidays, or family emergencies can impact delivery time. No prints will be mailed. If you have family members who live out of town and would like to order prints, that can be done through this website after the prints are delivered and the online gallery is released. Those prints ordered from the gallery are delivered directly to the customer.  Of course, a parent can order extra prints and mail copies to the out of town family themselves too.

My normal procedure is to provide a complimentary 8"x10" team photo to every coach who participates in team photo day by having their photo taken. If a coach does not get a photo taken, they would not get this complimentary print. For schools, I also provide a complimentary print for the school's display case. For middle schools this print is an 8"x10" and for high schools it is a 10"x13". If the school is in need of a digital copy for the yearbook or some other use, a reduced size digital file can be provided to a school contact.

If your program would like products in addition to the complimentary 8"x10" team photos for coaches, that needs to be arranged with myself prior to order form delivery or the prepay system going live as those requests may impact the cost of the products to customers.  I do reserve the right to charge for additional items if not prearranged as noted above.

Because I am a single person operation, I have a vested interest in not only producing the best product I can for customers, but also making photo day run as smoothly as possible for the teams. However, being a single person operation also has a downside in that there is no one to back me up if I am unable to make a photo date due to illness or family emergency. While I don't think I have had to reschedule a photo day because of an illness or family emergency, it is best to schedule a date sooner rather than later so if needed, there is time to reschedule.
